Connecting other channels: Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, email and more
How to connect the remaining channels so their messages land in the same inbox, and what each one needs.
Open Channels & integrations. Each channel has its own card under Messaging channels, and clicking the card opens that channel's screen. Every message it receives lands in the inbox next to your WhatsApp conversations.
Available channels
- Instagram and Messenger: click Connect account, sign in and accept the permissions. These channels require Meta app approval. Facebook and Instagram comments appear in the inbox under Comments.
- TikTok and X (Twitter): connect the account by signing in. On X, direct messages work both ways; public mentions are not included.
- Telegram: links your personal account (not a bot) with your phone number and a code Telegram sends you, plus your cloud password if you have one. Only one-to-one chats are saved, not groups or channels.
- Email: add a mailbox over IMAP and SMTP, with ready presets for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and a hosting mailbox (cPanel).
- SMS: pick a provider such as Twilio, Unifonic, Msegat, Vonage or a generic HTTP gateway, then enter its keys and sender name.
- RCS: rich messages sent through a Twilio account.
A WhatsApp button on your website
- Open the Website widget card and click New widget.
- Enter the WhatsApp number with country code and no + or spaces, then choose the icon, position, size and opening message.
- Copy the Embed code and paste it before the closing body tag on your site.
Tips
- Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo do not accept your account password; turn on two-step verification and create an app password.
- Your SMS sender name must be approved by the provider before the first send.
- Telegram may restrict personal accounts that send automated messages to people who never wrote first, so use auto-replies carefully.
If a channel card shows a disconnected or expired status, open the channel's card and reconnect the account from its screen.
